Practical Photography

When doing the photography for a wedding it can sometimes be a nightmare trying to contact everyone and everyone has different ideas! The Bride, Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom! Everyone wants a say and sometimes you can’t get any specific details from anyone. I love it when a Wedding Planner is involved, they have a great way of organising everyone and making sure everyone is on the same page.

Recently I’ve come across a lot of trouble trying to identify a brief from the families, as to what style of images they actually want but quite often I’ve been lucky enough to have co ordinated with wedding planners.

The wedding planner is usually involved from the very beginning and has been working on all the details like flowers, food and even seat covers, so they have a pretty good idea of what the family wants for the whole occassion. They also have alot of creativity and style so working with a wedding planner makes life a lot easier as they can tell you in detail how it will look what style of shoot will work best and most importantly help you decide what the families will want.
