Anna Wintour, British editor of US ‘Vogue’, receives Birhtday honour from Queen in this Years birthday Honours list.

Anna Wintour, editor of American Vogue, is among those honoured for contributions to the world of arts and media.

She has been appointed an OBE in this years diplomatic list, she has been hailed for her services to British journalism and British fashion in the US. Wintour has become an inspirational figure to females all over the world, she was rumoured to have been the motivation for the film The Devil Wears Prada.

Others honored in this years Birthday honours include, Monica Mason, Victoria Wood, Michael Nyman, Sue Pollard and Joe Calzaghe.
