Ultrasound images are produced by measuring sound waves, they are most commonly used for photos of babies in the womb and are getting more and more advanced.

Ultrasound images were once very grainy pictures of what would often resemble a peanut, but now 3D and 4D images can be produced using sound waves and can even record movements for quicktime videos or really detailed images of the childs features. These photos and videos are often being posted on social networking sites alike myspace and facebook.
