Tour De France
The Tour De France starts today, last year I went along last year to see some of it and got some good shots.
Normally I would find watching a load of men riding bikes quite dull but they really go all out for the Tour de France, with a carnival, promotions freebies a great atmosphere!
The actual race shows a few leaders the bulk of the riders then a few stragglers but the speed in which they rush past is great and unbelievable that these guys are riding such distances up and down French hills and through rocky paths.
Great for Photo opportunities so if your in France this summer keep your eyes open its running from the 5th July till the 27th July. Unfortunately I won’t be able to get there this year but it should be exciting as last year showed dramas of drugs and injuries so this year should be just as good!

Love this picture, it shows how fantastic an occassion it is. I agree, watching a lot of men ride by on bikes seems boring but it really isn’t when it is the tour de France
