In September,a digital compact camera was bought on eBay for £17, the keen photographer got the camera and looking through the memory card saw images of terror suspects! The person who found this reported it to Hemel Hemstead Police Station realising the images should not have been viewed by a member of the public.

But how did a ’spy’ camaera containing sensitive information end up on Ebay?

This investigation has been ongoing for two months and the Metropolitan Police took over the investigation after seeing that it is a national matter but have confirmed that they are yet to make any arrests in connection to this breach of security.

It has been claimed the the camera hel images of al-Qaeda suspects’, fingerprints and academic records. The memory card was also reprted as having pictures of rocket launches and missiles.

It is said that the camera may have belonged to an agent for MI6, the secret intelligence service a real life James Bond. Police are speaking to all agencies as part of the investigation, and have seized a computer.
