Practical Photography

More and more people are coming down with the photography bug! Especially young girls. Young girls fit in to a stereotype of being proud of their appearance and posing at the site of a camera. But it seems that less and less girls want to pose in front of the camera and more of them want to be behind the camera.

It isn’t just girls, as camera prices are coming down, good cameras are more accessible to the masses and more and more people are trying out their photography skills.

If you want to do photography for fun the trick is to find a good camera that works for you, not everyone likes to use SLRs and a lot of compact cameras are very good quality. For a hobby you may be better off with something you can carry around a lot easier. I love lomo cameras, they use film which is a little dated but you can have a lot of fun and the pictures look a bit mad.

But everyone is different, try out a few cameras and do a bit of research into what options are out there. You can have a lot of fun with photography and get some great images just remember to enjoy yourself and the old lomogrohy saying… shoot from the hip!
