Photographer of the Week- Sarah Hobbs

Sarah Hobbs is an intriguing artist, she composes a scene based on every day life but to the extreme. She uses uninhabitated spaces like bedrooms or offices thenillustrates psychological pathologies to the extreme.
Sarah photographs the rooms absent inhabitants by showing the by products of there symptoms, titles like the perfectionist and insomnia have been given to hobbs’ untitled works by the critics, which shows how clearly the message can be interpreted to the observer.
I particularly like Hobbs image of an office filled with crumpled balls of paper as if crunched up by the missing subject in frustration but perseverence.
