My friend brought round some brilliant mugs, I must admit I feel a bit geeky being so impressed by these as they are pantone mugs.

As a housewarming present my friend bought me and my fiance two pantone mugs, Pantone Black 4C and Pantone Process Yellow C. Pantone Black 4C is described as the colour of London Taxi Cabs, Bauhaus, Model T and Ink. Pantone Process Yellow C is described as being the colour of New York Cabs, Lemons, Sunflowers and Scrambled Eggs.

Any one involved in design, photography or even programming will be aware of pantone colour charts, and if you’ve ever had to painstakingly check colours in photoshop using a pantone chart these mugs will probably make you chuckle too!

Pantone Mugs come in 10 different colours, Red 186C, Pink 239C, Royal Blue 286C, Lime Green 388C, Pale Blue 549C, Lilac 2583C, Olive Green 5757C, Black 4C, Orange 012C, Process YellowC.
They cost around £8 each but you can get the set for £72, I have two in my collection but think I’ll be adding to these design geek mugs soon.
