Olym-Pics 2012

Controversy has arisen already with the upcoming Olympics 2012 Organisers are having to write out rules and regulations about what can and can’t be done with the events photography and press photographers.

Last month an ncident involving two amateur photographers who claimed that on the 3rd May heavy-handed security guards intimidated them outside the Olympic Grounds sparked the rows that specific rules should be put in place.

The Two Photographers, Louis Berk and Steve Kessel, were intimidated by guards demanding to see their passes or ID cards. The photographers were positive they were on a ‘public pavement’ were not on the Olymipic site.

An Internal investigation was launched and ODA spokeswoman Laura Voyle stated that Photography was prohibited on the site but they cannot do anything about pictures being taken on public property.
