The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum launched Mike McCartney’s Liverpool Life exhibition this week. Mike McCartney, younger brother of the Beatles legend Paul is a celebrity in his own right with his extraordinary Photography Skills

“It’s the story behind the story of that magical era,” says McCartney , the exhibit is being hailed by the critics with fantastic reviews! Mike McCartney is a great photographer but his images are a combination of talent and that gift for being in the right place at the right time. Liverpool born McCartney was in the city when so many U.S. artists were playing there, also at the time that home grown bands like his brother’s band, the Beatles were taking their first steps on the road to greatness.

The exhibition shows photographs of countlessrock and roll greats including, Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy J. Kramer, Jeff Beck and the Hollies. Unfortunately McCartney is not showcasing images of the greatest Liverpool band featuring his own brother but I’m sure this is only as he is holding back for a second exhibition.

The nonprofit organization that exhibits at the Rock Halll educates its visitors, about the history and legend that is rock and roll music. McCartney’s Liverpool Life is exhibitiong until September 21.This exhibit is all part of the Liverpool City of Culture celebrations which have brought us many other exhibitions of an equally high standard so get down tere and see for yourself before its too late.
