Practical Photography

As summer is here, well kind of… its time to get outside and start taking pictures outdoors, and where better to start than in your own garden?

Its amazing how some decent lighting and good angles can turn your garden into a work of art, and if theats not enough of an inspiration you could enter the International Garden Photographer of the year 2009, entries are open now and its being judged on diffrent categories such as Plant portraits, Wildlife in the Garden and the edible garden. It costs £10 to enter and you can enter up to 4 images in each section, there is n under 16s prize of Young Photographer.

You have plenty of time though the closing date is the 31st January 2009.
