Practical Photography

The Photography Exhibition called  Dubai Summer Surprises 2008 Signature Event, has started today in the Jewellery Court in Deira City Centre, the exhibition showases work of photographers from diverse backgrounds and different styles of photo journalism.

The dubai exhibition will run from today until August 18th, open from 10am to 10pm,  numerous themes will be feautured and the art works will be presented by the photographers. This event has attracted local, regional, and international exhibitors and followers this year.

Tshering Idnani, is the Senior Events Coordinator at Dubai Shopping Festival Office said who has helped to bring this exhibition to life, he describes it as celebration of the various facets. The exhibition is a good opportunity for photographers and enthusiasts to observe different perspectives and styles of  photographery the exhibition tells a story and is narrated through the lens.

The exhibition also holds a competition where the three best images are selected and winners announced on August 19th, this will mark International World Photography Day.

This exhibition is being held  for the fourth year in a row, and has over 50 participants and around 160 images put up for display.
