X Factor favourite Dianna Vickers was snapped last week going out for a romantic meal with her boyfriend, hours before she allegedly came down with laryngitis so bad she could not perform on Mariah Carey night last Saturday.

Dianna has been a favourite as she is ‘little Dianna’ the youngster with promise but quite a weak unusual voice. I have been quite impressed by Dianna, I always thought she was a one trick pony just good for soft gravelly songs, but she surprised me when she covered a Blondie hit on Disco night and I thought she might do well.

Dianna has the cute factor and that has made her a favourite against some really talented female vocalists this year. She would have really struggled this week as they had to sing big diva songs made famous by Mariah Carey.

I didn’t think anything when I saw this photo last week of her running around with her boyfriend but I am a little suspicious now I see she has missed her turn and gone through without performing. I’m sure Rik Waller got substituted for Darius in a similar situation on Pop Idol.

This weeks casualty on X Factor was Laura White another favourite who last week it had been revealed she had been dating someone connected with the show.

It seems this year there may be foul play about although I am shocked Daniel and Eggnog are still in after talented individuals such as Laura and Austin are gone.

So what do the General Public think, was Dianna faking it to get out of a song that may have exposed her weak voice, was she genuinely ill? Photos rarely lie!
