At Christmas many people may order their gifts online, but watch out for a new type of theif that follows delivery vans and steals parcels off your doorstep.

Online stores dispatch millions of pounds worth of photography equipment to well meaning consumers and many people who are at work get the parcels delivered to a place outside or on their doorsteps. Thieves have noticed this trend and started to follow vans around then when the goods are left just take them for themselves or to sell on.

This Christmas make sure you do not get targeted by this crime spree if you order anything online make sure you get it delivered at a time you can get it. Or ask your work if you can get things delivered to your work address. I leave a note on my door and any parcels get delivered to my neighboor who is retired then she brings them round for me.
